Harp Muff started performing folk music and song in trad clubs at the age of 14, accompanying herself on guitar. She studied harp with the Finnish harpist Satu Salo, and has developed into an astounding harper and vocalist. Her globetrotting has taken her to venues in Africa and on the Continent. Muff was a founder member of Triur Ban, and she also performs with Malthouse Passage.

Bodhr&aacuten Melodeon Helen has been involved in folk music for the past eight years. She's a member of Touchwood. She's also a dancer with the Kent Korkers and Pork Scratchin's Morris sides and is an enthusiastic performer with the Desert Flowers belly dance group. Her main function in Wompsters however, is to lower the average age of the group by at least 10 years!

Penny whistles. She also slaps the acoustic bass with equal dexterity. She has performed with Pugwash for the last 16 years and currently accompanies her partner Morris Wintle. Penny is also one of the Blackthorn trio.

Concertina Sue plays in and dances with an impressive list of bands and groups, including a concertina ensemble (Spare Parts), a hand-bell sextet and a trio called Co-op Boys and Susan. She teaches music and dance to tots and toddlers and is a keen Morris, Appalacian and English clog dancer. Sue has recently joined the Catsfield Steamers and was a member of Triur Ban.

Cabassa Darabouka Lisa's roots are in the Welsh and Irish pub sessions, where she started playing on guitar, bodhran and an array of percussion instruments. As soon as she heard the hammered dulcimer, she knew she'd found her musical soul mate. She's been a step dancer, worked for a leading UK folk and roots music magazine and its Indi record label, been a member of the Hollybush Hoboes, was a founder member of Pelicans Crossing, Frankie goes to a Ceilidh and the Johnny Spangles Allstars. Currently Lisa also performs with Malthouse Passage and sings with the West Gallery choir, Vital Spark.
